This was so exciting. To see your own child as a parent. The bris was so wet. It was pouring outside, heavy thunderstorms and rain. It was also pouring inside, what a mess. The baby arrived and so did all of the guests. It was such an honor and surprise for me to be the sandik. I thought that they were going to give it to Ziady E. or the mechuten. It was a true joy to hold the baby during the bris. He is so tiny. He has big eyes and Toby's wide shaped mouth. It is amnazing that you can see his parents' features even though he is so young.
Toby looked really great and sat around and talked to the guests. She is a beautiful young mother. B"H.
We hung around all day and before we went back to Spfld, we stopped by Benyamin and Chanie for a few minutes which turned into an hour because we just couldn't leave and besides, Chanie was sweet enough to make some delicious soup for us. The rain stopped just after the bris so now it was sunny and much less humid. Rivka was entertaining us. She is looking all over the place and is actually making eye contact. We also saw Benyamin & Chanies's wedding album. What a masterpiece! It is outstanding. Make sure to see it on your next trip to NY.
What wonderful brochos from Hashem.
Hopefully someone will post their pictures of the bris very soon.
Have a good Shabbos, everyone.
Love,
TA
