Update from Venezuela

Some random venezuelan we met in the street (Lavy, this is right outside the kasher)
So the situation in this country has gotten pretty exciting. The opposition ( the good guys) have been protesting against the government ( the bad guys .) They protest by having rallies and blocking off streets. Everyone we speak to has a different feeling whether or not this is helping and what else they can do to make the situation better. Meanwhile people have been working a lot less lately and many basic products, including food products, are becoming increasingly hard to find. But we have a couple drivers who are always looking for stuff for us so we haven't been missing too much. What we do feel is that many people are a little more scared to come out at night and our Motzai shabbos basketball at hebraica has been temporarily canceled. But bh everything else has been going very well and we are enjoying it very much. We had a few high school boys join us for this past shabbos. It was very impressive to see kids from not frum homes be practically shomer shabbos for a full shabbos. I hope everyone has a good Purim.
