just to clarify...
every city in Japan has a castle. they are really cool. we visited three castles, in himeji, osaka and kyoto. unfortunately we did not enter any of them. the pictures here are from osaka, which was the seat of the emperor for many years, it is very big and grand.
the sukka is also in osaka, and as far as we know it is the only one in the entire city.
the picture by the river is in kyoto, which is a throwback city to ancient japan, as well as a major tourist destination.
pictures only tell a small fraction of the story, but hopefully you can enjoy them and understand the feeling of Japan.
