Lavy reporting here from kobe, where it's already chol hamoed
erev yomtov we had a typhoon. ta would be proud of me, i was out in the rain and wind lashing down the schach and putting up blue tarp all sunday. with every gust of wind it seemed like the whole sukka would fly away, and the canvas walls were flapping like sails. after a few minutes i was soaked through and through, but at least the sukka didnt collapse.
as yomtov entered, the typhoon left, and by the time we came to the meal it had stopped raining. bh yomtov was really nice, we had a big crowd the first night, and minyanim the whole yomtov. we went out to shake lulav with people today, bh we met some new yidden here.
