last week i went to do more shchita, i killed 270 chickens in a kosher manner, bringing my total to 405, enough to qualify for hodaah. even though the shochet usually likes us to do 500, he said he'll give me hodaah since i did such a good job.

i wouldnt have minded get off 95 chickens either. mazel tov on your hodaah. it sounds cool to have a shocet in the family
so does hodaah mean you can shecht turkeys?
