Testing....

i am not sure I'm learning Hebrew BUT I'm getting real great at understanding the accent!
When you are invited- well, invite yourself, to a different kind of chossids house- you have to bear in mind i may be the only chabbadnik they ever see. perhaps. therefore choosing my clothes was a big hassle, all i really needed to do was wear 2 skirts (that is how all the nachmanies/breslever walk around) but do any of you see chaya kosofsky walking around with 2 skirts? hence the idea did not blossom until i was at the home of our darling cousins--they really are sweet people. lucky for me big sweaters are in style, i wore a sweater that did not show my form(barley) after that was done...in truth it only took 5 min. but the thought that went into those 5 min. was enough for 5 days.
kindly enough Sarah(chaya fiear's daughter/ Ta's cousin) picked us up from our dorm-from the forbidden right--the side near the boys yeshiva---as we approach the car i see only one empty seat..the baby in the car seat was in front-that I've only seen in pictures on the car seat with a big red X.....and 2 little girls in the back, not sure if i was expected to climb on the roof and let my friend take the seat or or or as these thoughts were processing sarah says climb on in let Mayan Emunah sit on your lap...uuuuuhhh okay sure, yep in my country we do this kind of thing all the time......WHAT!'' (that was my thought)
well, we get there and are being polite and friendly to the extent that i took all 3 babies to the park AND gave them bathes, 3 kids in the bath and 1 is a baby---impressive right?
I am becoming real great at small talk, every shabbos I'm somewhere else, I say the same things, see what people like and enhance it, i say the same lines-I'm only giving one example ( cuz i need stuff to talk about when I get home) when they serve, i hate sitting like a dummy at the table, as soon as i stand up,the people always say "seet, seet" (sit) so i put on my best smile and reply--it makes me feel at home to serve,at seminary......" EVERY family i went to falls for that trick...
i didn't think i was that fat until, the 4 year old asked me if had A BABY IN MY STOMACH--
as the old saying goes only fools and children tell the truth!
as i told you in previous emails, we have this Tanya chidon coming up....MY FRIEND STUDIED TANYA THE ENTIRE TIME...it was all she wanted to do...so shabbos day guess what? we BOTH learnt Tanya, but i never was the kind of student that could just listen for 4 hours...but im am excellent at pretending ..to understand, and apparently she didn't catch on, cuz she just kept TALKING, on the ride back Sarah said ''are all chabbadnikim so learned, i could just tell you love learning"
shabbos morning i wake up, not like up, but that first spark of awakness, and i hear a mans voice, so i think wow, i am up early, i check my clock, only to realize it is 10:00 and he is already home from shul...i jump up and lucky for me the bathroom is across the house....
i think only we have the thing of negel vasser by the bed so at night we found a cup, and took some container from the kitchen--no big deal, they already went to sleep BUT after every night is a morning,
we had to keep a eye out, run from the bathroom..bedroom AND KITCHEN without them realizing--but of course we completed the task unnoticed!
oh, for breakfast we had the shabbos meal ''why don't you take more cholent" ---if i could only explain!!
after shobbos we had a whole party around the computer i showed the wedding pics(cuz that is all i have!) "how do you chabbadnikim always look so good" i refrained from saying it comes naturally, but i agree with her i was loookin at those pics we really look good! a simpler answer of or trick is makeup...
she kept ranting and raving about TA, and i was like ya that is my papa..and of course i added some of my own input about my father...so she ranted and raved some more.
i got 100% on a very hard quiz i had!!!
P.S. i strongly advise serving spoons!
PPS if the serving spoons are there BE SURE YOU USE THEM!
