First of all, it was wonderful to hear from all of you (and I mean all of you) on my birthday, thanks for checking in. I sound like my mother, but hearing your voices was the best present ever. Kudos to Malky for buying me a lovely pair of earrings before Chanukah and hiding them with Bracha until yesterday - very clever (and very sparkly!).
So, last night, Ta took me and the girls out to eat in Boston (keeping with the tradition that if your Hebrew birthday falls on a legal holiday, it is a siman that you should go out to eat!). We went to Ta'am China, not "Tom" China like the girls thought, they could not figure out the sign! We actually had to wait in line for a table - another Kosofsky family tradition I guess. We had a tasty Chinese meal, complete with forture cookies and Chinese tea. I ordered the pu pu platter for Bryna and Chana, it was very neat with an assortment of egg rolls, chicken wings, chicken nuggets and beef sticks served with a little grill in the middle, they enjoyed roasting their food.
We stopped at the Prus household on our way back and all in all, a lovely evening.
Have a great day, mucho gusto!

my nineteens were hte same day and also on thanksgiving...thats a triple...
chaya,
the deal is that it has to fall on a legal holiday, at last look, August 25 did not make it. However, you were due on Labor Day, does that count? (Only if you treat us...just kidding)
Toby, this was my party, did you think I would bring a camera? sorry to say we forgot it at home, but a great time was had by all. And Bracah ordered a chicken with fresh mushrooms, it was good, but mine and Ta's dishes were spicier, it's all a matter of taste
can i join the conversation? way to go malky. and ma, thanks for the recognition in your sign-off. still waiting for the midsummer legal holiday (the more i type, the more nervous i get that ill make a typing mistake and everyone will jump on me...oh well, its only fair.) hbm
