sooo, where do i start? firstly, i apologize for my long silence, but our internet hasnt been so accesible. and ive been very busy these past few days. why, you ask? welll. firstly, i got new glasses. ill try to post a pic one of these days. its opened up a whole new world for me. i can see much better. but, in addition, were really doing a lot for chanuka mivtzoim. firstly, mivtzoim is different here, b/c most people light, and you cant go door to door or streetcorner mivtzoim. so what we do is visit people at their homes, and light w/ them. prearranged. its actually a very nice ceremony. we only have time to do one a night, b/c in the last two nights, weve spent an hour and a half at each place. in addition, we arrange a driver for each group, so when we finish, we go to his house and light w/ him. its really beautiful. tonight, we had a menorah lighting, with like hundreds of people, hard to tell how many, but a lot. it was mui nice. after the lighting, we started dancing in a circle. then, me and another bochur went in front of the crowd and started dancing. basically, pretty soon everyone came to watch us. so we made a nice show. a lot of fun. in addition, there is a jewish fraye school over here, so we made a program for them. olive press, sand art, and a dreidel house. you guessed it , im the greek. ill try to send pics. i might even be able to post a video of my fight w/ yehuda macabee. i lose every time. tough luck. so, now im really knocked out as a result of all this action. i mean, yehuda has flipped me over himself onto the floor (youll understand when you see the video) about twelve times. so im a little sore. but happy. besides for that, were doing good, b'h. oh, and i decided no apostraphes in my article, it just gets too hard. adios, i love you, take care, good shabbos, down with chavez. a freilechen januka.
